How does Toorgle protect your Privacy?

Your searches are never sold or spied on.

Toorgle is a metasearch engine that indexes various other search engines. The search results Toorgle serves to users are fetched from Toorgle’s database and do not require 3rd party data transfer. Keeping your browsing anonymous. Toorgle only requests search results from external sources when our internally stored search index doesn’t have a dense result list. Over time our search graph won’t require external fetching. When you search, browse, and fetch results with Toorgle, we don’t insert any cookies on your browser. We don’t use any tracking devices. We don’t collect and we don’t store any history or your searches. When you enter a search query, it is immediately anonymized. What you search for is your own business. With Toorgle, you gain access to the Tor network and great search results without the use of your personal data.

Why doesn’t Toorgle collect any personal data?

Your personal data is just that, personal.

Toorgle is a metasearch engine so your personal data is not required for a search query. It is our philosophy that your persona data is just that, personal.

Private Search, By Default

Privacy, Simplified.

When you browse and search with Toorgle, we don't know who you are and there is no way to tie your searches together. When you search, your query is automatically stripped of unnecessary metadata including your IP address and other identifying information. We return results to you based on anonymized search queries. We don’t log your searches.

To prevent abuse such as robotic high-volume querying, we anonymously determine the frequency of popular search keywords as a part of our anti-abuse measures, while protecting your privacy.

We don’t record IP address. If our software detects potential abuse, we register repeating keywords once a threshold is met and proceed to block the offending IP address in order to keep our service safe and free.

This is why we created the “Anonymous Proxy” button that is available next to every search result. When you select to visit search results with the Anonymous Proxy button, you will ensure your privacy through the Tor Network.

Web Analytics

We don’t use external tracking tools.

We use a safe and fully encrypted web analysis service, which we ourselves operate, in order to continuously improve our proxy performance and the use of Toorgle. We only measure traffic volume to prevent bot spam across our proxy system. These stats only include the number of times our service is accessed by a certain operating system and spoofed or headless browsers. We don’t know anything about individual users or IPs that access Toorgle.

We never disclose or sell your contact information

We do not share or sell any contact information with any third party.
